VERETX Helicopters proudly and exclusively uses the Rock River Arms (RRA) series of AR-15's, and the Aimpoint series of optics.
This section highlights all of the weapons systems currently in use by VERTEX Helicopters, to include the weapon, grips, optics, brass catchers, magazines, ammunition and other accessories.

16" EOP Varmint Hunting Rifle (LAR-15 series)
Our first weapon from RRA is a customized 16" EOP Varmint Rifle. The stock weapon can be found here at the RRA website: 16" RRA EOP Varmint.
This rifle was customized with the 16" free floating Cryo Treated Stainless Steel Bull Barrel in .223 caliber (5.56mm). Our front handguard was replaced with a Quad-Rail handguard, and the stock was replaced with a collapsible RRA 6-position stock. The trigger is an RRA Two-Stage match trigger with the RRA winter trigger guard (for when it gets colder and we're flying around wearing gloves!) and Hogue Grips.
The EOP (Elevated Optical Platform) was augmented with an additional 3/4 inch riser to accomodate our Aimpoint CompM3s optic. We chose the CompM3s due to it's larger aperature and high visbility red dot that is perfect for daytime use.

This was a 2-adjustment zero where we fired 5 shots per adjustment.
